Finding Support
Many survivors find strength in sharing with support groups, and Hospice of Havasu team members work with such groups year round. The grief support groups are open to anyone and meet Wednesdays at 10 a.m. Life after Loss, a 6-week series that meets at different times and locations throughout the year is also offered.

VolunteeringTrained volunteers are a vital part of the Hospice of Havasu team. They provide a number of services for patient and family, all focused on being good neighbors in any way possible. There are also volunteers and their pets who can visit with patients. Volunteer training is conducted throughout the year.

Polidori House
Lake Havasu City is now the home of a state-of-the-art, home-like setting for as many as six patients who find they cannot stay in their home or a facility. Made possible by a generous grant from the Quinto Polidori family, the house opened in April 2008. The Polidori House is located on Bahama Avenue.

Grow Our Own
Hospice of Havasu looks nationwide for qualified medical staff. In addition, the agency works closely with area nursing programs to recruit and mentor young nurses in the philosophy of Hospice of Havasu care. The Grow Our Own program has helped Hospice of Havasu find several new nurses.
